Rosemount is a city in Dakota County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 21,874 at the 2010 census. Rosemount was established as a township in 1856 and incorporated as a city in 1972, encompassing the old village of Rosemount and Pine Bend. According to the city’s website, there was some debate over whether to name the township Saratoga or Rosemount, with the latter finally being chosen to reflect the town’s Irish heritage, and to remain in keeping with the name given to the post office a few years earlier. Rosemount is home to the Pine Bend Refinery, which is the largest oil refinery in Minnesota and the 14th-largest in the United States. Rosemount was also home to a military gunpowder plant in the 1940s called Gopher Ordnance Works.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 35.1 square miles (91.0 km²), of which, 33.7 square miles (87.2 km²) of it is land and 1.5 square miles (3.8 km²) of it (4.18%) is water.

Discover all of the basics of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Rosemount skate park.
