Riverview (2006 population: 17,832) is a Canadian town in Albert County, New Brunswick, Canada.
Riverview is located on the south side of the Petitcodiac River, across from the much larger cities of Moncton and Dieppe. Riverview has an area of 34 square kilometres (13 sq mi), and a population density of 526.3 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,363 /sq mi). Riverview’s slogan is “A Great Place To Grow”.
Riverview first became a permanent settlement when settlers from Yorkshire, England, settled there in 1733. The town features elementary schools, a middle school, a high school, an outdoor swimming pool, a full size indoor swimming pool connected with the high school , The Riverview Arts Center , many parks/sports fields, two hockey rinks , as well as several family-owned shops and churches servicing the surrounding area. Do you want to learn skateboarding?

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Discover all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Riverview skate park.
