OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS

James B. from Richmond, California!

James has 25 years of experience skateboarding and 5 years in the skateboard retail industry. His motto is, “Safety first” and be prepared to have fun”! James is currently teaching his 4-year-old niece how to skateboard. James’s niece loves his fun style of learning and skating. That’s why he wants to teach your children too!

Isak H. from El Cerrito, California!

Born and raised in Burnsville, Isak is an energetic and positive instructor. Isak specializes in mini-ramps and bowls. He’s been skating for over ten years, so he certainly knows the ropes. During the day, Isak is a law student at the University of Minnesota, but that doesn’t stop him from ripping up the park on evenings and weekends. If you or your child is just starting out, Isak can teach you the fundamentals of pushing, stance, carving, and transitions—ollies too! Learning to ride can be challenging, but with Isak, it can be fun as well.

Learn Skateboarding in a 7 Day School

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS

    Brandon S. from Mechanicsville, Virginia!

My name is Brandon. I am 25 years old I am from the Richmond area and have been skating for 15 years now and I never plan to stop. I would be a great instructor because I know this sport like the back of my hand, I thought myself how to skate and I am well above average. I would definitely say I am more of a street skater than a vert skater, although I can do both. I know lots of flat ground tricks, flip tricks, spin tricks, grabs, and other uncommon tricks that you don’t normally see. I can grind and teach how to grind rails and ledges, I would eventually like to tutor my students once they are ready to handle rolling up to and Ollie down staircases before trying any other advanced tricks down staircases or handrails. So I’d love to be able to get someone to that level so please pick me as your awesome tutor for the great sport of skateboarding!!! Thank you.

    Dylan H. from Midlothian, Virginia!

Hello, my name is Dylan! I have been skateboarding since I was 10 years old (20 years). I have grown up with an older brother who has taught me the ropes and taken me to skate spots, skate parks, and skate shops. Once I became old enough to drive, I began skateboarding more on my own and traveling to further places such as NYC, New Jersey, Florida, California, Ireland, Spain, Italy, & Amsterdam. During my journey, I’ve taught many fellow skateboarders tips and tricks here and there and found success in achieving their goals. I look forward to helping the next aspiring skateboarder in my area improve their abilities exponentially
