Placerville (pronounced PLASS-er-ville; formerly Old Dry Diggings, Dry Diggings, and Hangtown) is the county seat of El Dorado County, California. The population was 10,389 at the 2010 census, up from 9,610 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Placerville, is located at 38°43′45″N 120°48′11″W / 38.729267°N 120.803000°W / 38.729267; -120.803000. It is located along U.S. Route 50 where it crosses State Route 49 and is the location of several traffic signals along the highway, which is otherwise a freeway.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.8 square miles (15 km), over 99% of it land.
It is about 660 meters (2,187 ft) above sea level, and is in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
The 2010 United States Census reported that Placerville had a population of 10,389. The population density was 1,787.3 people per square mile (690.1/km²). The racial makeup of Placerville was 8,716 (83.9%)…

A 2002 report by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
