North Haven is a suburban town in New Haven County, Connecticut on the outskirts of New Haven, Connecticut. North Haven is less than 10 minutes from downtown New Haven and Yale University. It is also near Quinnipiac University and Sleeping Giant State Park. It has easy access to I-91 and Route 15. The population was estimated at 23,908 in 2005.
In July 2007, Money Magazine ranked North Haven as the eighty-sixth “best place to live” in the United States.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 21.1 square miles (54.6 km²), of which, 20.8 square miles (53.8 km²) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.8 km²) of it (1.52%) is water. North Haven is located less than ten miles (16 km) from Long Island Sound.

A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
