Why Skateboarding?
Well, some may think this is a silly question. Skateboarding is actually a safe and healthy sport. Not only is it great for the cardiovascular system. Skating is not dangerous. Some parents need some additional information before enrolling kids. In fact, according to the US government, skateboarding results in fewer injuries per participant than soccer and football.
Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.
