The NEMO, also known as Control-Vision, was an unreleased video game console developed by Tom Zito. It was notable for using VHS tapes rather than cartridges.
Initial development began in 1985 and was supported by Nolan Bushnell’s company Axlon. The team created a prototype which used a modified ColecoVision console to combine interactive images with a video stream transmitted through a cable. As a storage medium Nemo employed VHS tapes that contained computer data and multiple tracks of video and audio.
To take the project beyond prototype status they searched for a partner who would fund further development. The Hasbro toy company agreed to invest US$ 7 million in exchange for the video game rights to the technology.
Three short trial games were finished by the middle of 1986:

Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered that there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Nemo skate park.
