Makoti is a city in Ward County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 154 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Minot Micropolitan Statistical Area. Makoti was founded in 1911.
Makoti is located at 47°57′41″N 101°48′19″W / 47.96139°N 101.80528°W / 47.96139; -101.80528 (47.961293, -101.805180).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 145 people, 74 households, and 35 families residing in the city. The population density was 733.3 people per square mile (279.9/km²). There were 89 housing units at an average density of 450.1 per square mile (171.8/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.86% White, 2.76% from other races, and 1.38% from two or more races.

Learn all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
