Magee is a city in Simpson County, Mississippi, United States. The population was 4,200 at the 2000 census and was estimated to be near 5,019 as of February 2007. It is part of the Jackson Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The first white settlers in the area were Arthur Mangum and Phil Magee. Both entered the area around 1820. Pioneers from Virginia and the Carolinas followed, and in 1840 Willis Magee built a grist mill on Little Goodwater Creek, inside the present city limits.
The community was incorporated as a village on February 25, 1900, which consisted of 685 in 1910.
Magee is located at 31°52′22″N 89°44′1″W / 31.87278°N 89.73361°W / 31.87278; -89.73361 (31.872684, -89.733699).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.9 square miles (13 km), all land.
Magee is located between Jackson and Hattiesburg on U.S. Hwy. 49 at the intersection of MS Highways 541, 545, and 28.

We will show you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
