Loxley is a town in Baldwin County, Alabama, United States. As of the 2000 census, the population of the town is 1,348. It is part of the Daphne–Fairhope–Foley Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Loxley is located at 30°37’24.600″ North, 87°45’17.035″ West (30.623500, -87.754732).
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6.2 km), of which, 2.4 square miles (6.2 km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) of it (1.23%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,348 people, 562 households, and 375 families residing in the town. The population density was 561.0 people per square mile (216.9/km²). There were 609 housing units at an average density of 253.5 per square mile (98.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 90.58% White, 5.34% Black or African American, 0.82% Native American, 0.52% Asian, 1.71% from other races, and 1.04% from two or more races. 2.89% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered that there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
