Litchville is a city in Barnes County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 172 at the 2010 census. Litchville was founded in 1900.
Litchville is located at 46°39′13″N 98°11′26″W / 46.65361°N 98.19056°W / 46.65361; -98.19056 (46.653683, -98.190604).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 191 people, 88 households, and 55 families residing in the city. The population density was 129.2 people per square mile (49.8/km²). There were 110 housing units at an average density of 74.4 per square mile (28.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.91% White, 0.52% Native American, 0.52% Asian, and 1.05% from two or more races.
There were 88 households out of which 25.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.7% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.5% were non-families. 36.4% of all households…

A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Litchville skate park.
