Leary is a city in Calhoun County, Georgia in the United States. The population was 666 at the 2000 census. Seattle Mariners third baseman Chone Figgins was born in Leary.
Leary is located at 31°29′8″N 84°30′48″W / 31.48556°N 84.51333°W / 31.48556; -84.51333 (31.485431, -84.513293).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km), of which, 3.2 square miles (8.3 km) of it is land and 0.31% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 666 people, 256 households, and 176 families residing in the city. The population density was 208.8 people per square mile (80.6/km²). There were 288 housing units at an average density of 90.3 per square mile (34.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 21.47% White, 75.68% African American, 0.75% Native American, 1.35% from other races, and 0.75% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.85% of the population.

Understand all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your skill level.

A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
