Lakewood Township is a township in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2010 Census the township had a total population of 92,843, making Lakewood the largest community in Ocean County. The 2010 population represented an increase of 32,491 (53.8%) from the 60,352 residents enumerated during the 2000 Census, with the township ranking as the seventh-largest municipality in the state in 2010 after having been ranked 22nd in 2000. The sharp increase in population from 2000 to 2010 was led by increases in the township’s Orthodox Jewish and Latino communities, and increased numbers of senior citizens in the township’s retirement communities.
Lakewood was incorporated as a township by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 23, 1892, from portions of Brick Township. Portions of Howell Township in Monmouth County were annexed to Lakewood Township in 1929.
Lakewood is one of the hubs of Orthodox Judaism and is home to one of the largest yeshivas in the world….

    OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS

    Evan K. from Littleton, Colorado!

Denver Born/Raised. Positive Role-model. Great with all ages (Taught 48 years old – 3 years old.) A sponsored skater since 2005. Amateur Rider for Untitled Skateboards, 7Twenty Boardshop. Skilled in teaching basics of all skateboarding disciplines: Flatground, Transportation, Longboarding, skateboarding, Street, Transition, Vert, Freestyle, skatepark, trampoline boarding, balance boarding, fingerboard, skateboard videography and editing, and etiquette. I volunteer at my local Indoor skate ministry @Skatuary. I teach kids to skate, help coordinate events at the park, MC events, teach birthday party events, and teach Bible at our weekly study. I’ve skateboarded in almost every state in the USA, Jamaica, Canada, Costa Rica, Brazil, Egypt, Germany, Albania, Jordan, and Israel. Go Skate Certified. Evan is the leading instructor in Denver for Go Skate. He is sponsored by Untitled Skateboards. He teaches for Go Skate and Skate Church. He has over 12 years of skateboarding experience.

    Robert L. from Denver, Colorado!

I have been skateboarding consistently for the last 16 years, and I have no intention of ever quitting… even if become one of the old shredders who stick to bowls and transitions. However, until then I will continue to skate street and work on getting very technical. I used to primarily hit handrails and large stair sets, and still do occasionally to ensure my skills are still on point, but now I mainly focus on making sure my current repertoire is consistent and always progressing. I like grinding on ledges, as well as working on combo tricks in and out of ledge grinds. I absolutely LOVE manuals -especially nose manuals- and thoroughly enjoy learning flip-in flip-out combos of manuals as well as incorporating pivots and such to make it much more technical and complicated. I have taught skateboarding through various community events put on by local skate shops, and have even set up community events when I was sponsored by local shops. Years ago I used to skate frequently with Bobby Worrest, which helped with progress much faster due to his incredible level of skateboarding. I have also gotten props from Andrew Reynolds and Braydon Szafranski during a sesh with them a couple of years back. I am always skating and would love to make some extra money by doing my all-time favorite thing. I have also worked with severely special needs children and low-income children with developmental disabilities, so I have various ways of teaching or promulgating the lesson since I am very aware that learning is subjective and is needed to be fluid to ensure better retention.
