Kipling is the western terminus station of the Bloor–Danforth line of the subway system in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the westernmost station in the system. It is located on St. Albans Road at Aukland Road, near 5247 Dundas Street West at its more westerly intersection with Bloor Street West, and near Kipling Avenue.
The station was designed around commuter travel, as it is the terminus of the line, and there is little density in the area. The station is also underneath power lines, and is near a hydro substation. This provides space for parking (1751 spaces in four surrounding lots) and other amenities such as a ‘Kiss & Ride’ passenger pick up/drop off area. Space was provided on the station’s bus level for a connecting rapid transit line similar to the original concept for the Scarborough RT, but an empty track bed and platform at the south end of the bus level is all that was built. Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Find out all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Kipling skate park.
