Kilmichael is a town in Montgomery County, Mississippi, United States. The population was 830 at the 2000 census.
Kilmichael is located at 33°26′32″N 89°34′11″W / 33.44222°N 89.56972°W / 33.44222; -89.56972 (33.442175, -89.569761).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.8 square miles (7.3 km), of which, 2.8 square miles (7.3 km) of it is land and 0.36% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 830 people, 314 households, and 233 families residing in the town. The population density was 298.7 people per square mile (115.3/km²). There were 367 housing units at an average density of 132.1 per square mile (51.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 53.37% African American, 46.27% White, 0.24% Native American, and 0.12% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.96% of the population.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Kilmichael skate park.
