Kenesaw is a village in Adams County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 873 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Hastings, Nebraska Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Kenesaw is located at 40°37′18″N 98°39′25″W / 40.62167°N 98.65694°W / 40.62167; -98.65694 (40.621679, -98.657029).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 873 people, 318 households, and 232 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,022.0 people per square mile (396.5/km²). There were 345 housing units at an average density of 403.9 per square mile (156.7/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.20% White, 0.23% Native American, and 0.57% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.69% of the population.

A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the ensuing years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
