Huntington Park is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 58,114, down from 61,348 at the 2000 census.
Named for prominent industrialist Henry Huntington, Huntington Park was incorporated in 1906 as a streetcar suburb for workers in the rapidly expanding industries to the southeast of downtown Los Angeles. (To this day, about 30% of its residents work at factories in nearby Vernon and Commerce.) The stretch of Pacific Boulevard in downtown Huntington Park was a major commercial district serving the city’s largely working-class residents, as well as those of neighboring cities such as Bell, Cudahy, South Gate, and Downey. Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Study all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

     

     

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Huntington Park skate park.
