Holy Cross (Deloy Chet in Deg Xinag, Ingirraller in Central Alaskan Yup’ik) is a city in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 227.
Holy Cross is located at 62°11′53″N 159°46′24″W / 62.19806°N 159.77333°W / 62.19806; -159.77333 (62.198048, -159.773418).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 37.4 square miles (97 km), of which, 31.3 square miles (81 km) of it is land and 6.2 square miles (16 km) of it (16.51%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 227 people, 64 households, and 49 families residing in the city. The population density was 7.3 people per square mile (2.8/km²). There were 81 housing units at an average density of 2.6 per square mile (1.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 3.52% White and 96.48% Native American.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Understand all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Holy Cross skate park.
