Hinesburg is a town in Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. The town was named for Abel Hine, town clerk. The population was 4,340 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 40.1 square miles (103.9 km), of which, 39.8 square miles (103.1 km) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.8 km) of it (0.75%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 4,340 people, 1,596 households, and 1,174 families residing in the town. The population density was 109.0 people per square mile (42.1/km). There were 1,693 housing units at an average density of 42.5 per square mile (16.4/km). The racial makeup of the town was 97.90% White, 0.14% African American, 0.21% Native American, 0.51% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.16% from other races, and 1.06% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.78% of the population.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the following years the actual locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the developed generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Be taught all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Hinesburg skate park.
