OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS
I believe I would be a great instructor because of my passion for the sport. I believe that if everyone avidly practiced skateboarding, the world would be a much happier place. The opportunity to teach more about skateboarding would be a great lesson not only for me but for others to see how the stereotypes of skaters can be broken. Thinking of skaters in a positive community-driven mindset instead of looking at us as criminals. Plus, I couldn’t imagine a better way to make money than doing what I love to do; SKATE!!
Kenny has over 10 years of skateboarding. His patience and extensive practice are what make him a great skateboarder. He has taught others to skateboard in the past and continues to pass his experience and knowledge to those open to his advice or lessons. A lover of philosophy, he believes that skateboarding brings with it a plethora of wisdom from overcoming hardships to learning how to enjoy life. Skateboarding to him is meant to be fun and that may be different for each individual that tries it. Working with him will bring out the best in you and everyone around him. There is nothing better he would rather do than to see that be true.
IMPROVE YOUR SKATEBOARDING IN A WEEK-LONG LESSON
Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture. The most significant change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
