As of the census of 2010, there were 42,409 people and 16,626 households in the city. The racial makeup of the city was 69.8% White, 4.1% Black or African-American, 0.8% Native American, 8.4% Asian, and 0.2% Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander. Hispanic or Latino of any race was 32.5%. In the city the population was spread out with 9.2% under the age of 5, 75.4% 18 years of age or over, and 10% who were 65 years of age or older.
