Grandville is a city in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 16,263 at the 2000 census. Grandville is one of the oldest suburbs of Grand Rapids, and was incorporated as a city in 1933.
Grandville was geographically an important place during the logging years in Michigan’s history due to its location at the “river-bend” of the Grand River. It was important to have people there to make sure the logs didn’t jam up as the river turned north-west toward Grand Haven.
Grandville is located near the southwest corner of Grand Rapids. The western border of the city of Grandville is also the western border of Kent County, marked by Kenowa Avenue; this is where Ottawa County and Jenison begin. To the east and south of Grandville lies the city of Wyoming. The city of Walker lies just north of Grandville.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.6 square miles (20 km), 2.63% of which is water.

Understand all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Grandville skate park.
