Elk Grove is a city in Sacramento County, California, located just south of the state capital of Sacramento. It is part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city is 153,015. The second-largest city in Sacramento County, Elk Grove earned the title of the fastest growing city in the U.S between July 1, 2004 and July 1, 2005.
Elk Grove was founded in 1850 as a stage stop. It is located about 15 miles (24 km) south of historic Sutter’s Fort and thus became a crossroads for business, entertainment, mail service and agriculture, and acted as home base for gold miners in nearby communities.
Initially, the town developed around a stage stop on the Monterey Trail, though after the railroad passed by east of town, Elk Grove’s center shifted to its present location. “Old Town” Elk Grove is located about a mile east of State Route 99 (formerly U.S. Route 99, the north-south artery of the California Central Valley)….

I started skateboarding because of video games like tony hawk and skate 3 when i was in middle school and it became my sport . I’ve been skateboarding since and I have skated all around Sacramento and the Bay Area and even in some parks in So Cal. Im also a college student and I like to workout at the gym for fitness and to keep my body right to skate.

A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality. The most significant change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Learn all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop.   • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Elk Grove skate park.
