East Los Angeles (often shortened to East L.A. or East Los or in Spanish El Este de Los Ángeles) is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Los Angeles County, California, United States. As of the 2010 census, the area had a total population of 126,496, up from 124,283 at the 2000 census. The CDP area includes the separate community of City Terrace. East Los Angeles is represented by Gloria Molina on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. The community receives its police service from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and fire service is provided by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
East Los Angeles is located at 34°1′53″N 118°10′7″W / 34.03139°N 118.16861°W / 34.03139; -118.16861 (34.031462, -118.168653). East Los Angeles lies directly east of downtown Los Angeles.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 7.5 square miles (19 km), all of it land.

Discover all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the East Los Angeles skate park.
