East Bernard is a city in Wharton County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,729 at the 2000 census.
East Bernard is located at 29°31′42″N 96°3′58″W / 29.52833°N 96.06611°W / 29.52833; -96.06611 (29.528403, -96.066013).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles. (3.6 km²)
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,729 people, 631 households, and 487 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,253.0 people per square mile (483.7/km²). There were 662 housing units at an average density of 479.7 per square mile (185.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 81.43% White, 2.72% African American, 0.17% Native American, 0.17% Asian, 0.23% Pacific Islander, 13.59% from other races, and 1.68% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 27.07% of the population.

Learn all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the East Bernard skate park.
