Doña Ana is a census-designated place (CDP) in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, in the United States. The population was 1,379 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Las Cruces Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Doña Ana is located at 32°23′27″N 106°48′57″W / 32.39083°N 106.81583°W / 32.39083; -106.81583 (32.390928, -106.815844).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,379 people, 447 households, and 363 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,885.3 people per square mile (729.4/km²). There were 465 housing units at an average density of 635.7 per square mile (245.9/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 45.76% White, 0.44% Black or African American, 1.67% Native American, 0.51% Asian, 47.14% from other races, and 4.50% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 87.09% of the population.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Understand all of the fundamentals of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Dona Ana skate park.
