Dell City is a city in Hudspeth County, Texas, United States. The population was 413 at the 2000 census.
It was incorporated in 1948 shortly after the discovery of an underground water supply by oil prospectors, which attracted farmers to the area. Its name is a reference to the nursery rhyme “The Farmer In The Dell.”
Dell City is located at 31°56′7″N 105°12′1″W / 31.93528°N 105.20028°W / 31.93528; -105.20028 (31.935324, -105.200298).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.6 square miles (4.1 km), all of it land.
The Dell City area is served by the Dell City Independent School District. The district has about 113 students in grades kindergarten through 12th. The district has just one school.

A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Dell City skate park.
