Corsicana is a city in Navarro County, Texas, United States. It is located on Interstate 45 some fifty-five miles south of downtown Dallas. The population was 24,485 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Navarro County.
Founded in 1848, Corsicana was named by José Antonio Navarro after the Mediterranean island of Corsica, the birthplace of his father, who died when Navarro and his many siblings were young.
Women’s’ groups have had a strong role throughout the history of the city, with one of the earliest efforts being the establishment of the Corsicana Female Literary Institute, a school which operated from 1857 through 1870. The first public library in Corsicana opened in 1901 by effort of the women’s’ clubs of the city. A 1905 library gift by Andrew Carnegie gave the library a permanent home and its first full-time, professionally trained librarian. Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Study all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the following years the locations of skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Corsicana skate park.
