Clarion is a borough in Clarion County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, about 100 miles (161 km) north-northeast of Pittsburgh and part of the Pittsburgh DMA. Clarion was settled in 1839 and incorporated in 1841. In the past, the surrounding area produced natural gas, oil, lumber and coal. Merely 2,004 people lived there in 1900, and only 2,864 lived there in 1910. The population was 6,185 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Clarion County and home to the annual Autumn Leaf Festival and Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
Clarion is located at 41°12′42″N 79°23′2″W / 41.21167°N 79.38389°W / 41.21167; -79.38389 (41.211791, -79.384005).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km), of which, 1.5 square miles (3.9 km) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) (1.97%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 6,185 people, 2,000 households, and 718 families residing in the borough. The population density was 4,142…

A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the actual locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
