Circle Pines is a city in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 4,918 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 km), of which, 1.8 square miles (4.7 km) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km) of it (9.74%) is water. Lake Drive / County 23 serves as a main route in the community. Interstate 35W is in close proximity to the city.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4,663 people, 1,697 households, and 1,281 families residing in the city. The population density was 2,660.7 people per square mile (1,028.8/km²). There were 1,708 housing units at an average density of 974.6 per square mile (376.8/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.01% White, 0.24% African American, 0.56% Native American, 1.74% Asian, 0.19% from other races, and 1.27% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.97% of the population.

Learn Skateboarding in a Two Week-Long School

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop.   • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Circle Pines skate park.
