Chuathbaluk (Curarpalek in Central Alaskan Yup’ik) is a city in Bethel Census Area, Alaska, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 119.
Chuathbaluk is located at 61°34′32″N 159°14′50″W / 61.57556°N 159.24722°W / 61.57556; -159.24722 (61.575693, -159.247311).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.4 square miles (14 km), of which, 3.5 square miles (9.1 km) of it is land and 1.8 square miles (4.7 km) of it (34.26%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 119 people, 33 households, and 23 families residing in the city. The population density was 33.8 people per square mile (13.1/km²). There were 43 housing units at an average density of 12.2 per square mile (4.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 5.04% White, 91.60% Native American, 0.84% from other races, and 2.52% from two or more races.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Study all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the ensuing years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

    How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Chuathbaluk skate park.
