Buford is a city in Gwinnett and Hall counties in the U.S. state of Georgia. The population was 12,387 as of 2009.
Buford is part of the Atlanta–Sandy Springs–Marietta, GA-AL Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Buford is located at 34°7′1″N 83°59′55″W / 34.11694°N 83.99861°W / 34.11694; -83.99861 (34.117080, -83.998535).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 14.8 square miles (38 km), of which, 14.7 square miles (38 km) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km) of it (0.34%) is water.
The Mall of Georgia, the largest mall in Georgia, while outside the official Buford city limits, uses Buford as its mailing address.
In a bid to host the lunch stop on the new Atlanta and Richmond Air Line Railway, the town was named after the railway president, Algernon S. Buford. The town won the lucrative stopping point. Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Understand all of the basic principles of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Buford skate park.
