Brandt is an unincorporated community in southern Bethel Township, Miami County, Ohio, United States. It was formed on the National Road (today U.S. Route 40) as a stop for travelers on the road and for road toll-takers. It was laid out in 1839 by the Voorhis brothers. A toll gate was located at the east end of Brandt where US 40 and State Route 201 intersect today. Toll-takers were appointed by the governor and earned $30 a month.
The village is home to the Brandt Methodist Church and the Brandt Lutheran Church (ELCA). A newly formed church is located in the former Bethel Township Grange hall. At one time the village had two grocery stores and an active fraternal presence with the International Order of Oddfellows being housed in a two-story frame structure. That local organization merged into the I.O.O.F. in nearby Tipp City. It was also the site of the Halderman Nursery.
Brandt is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the following years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The largest change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
