Bluford is a village in Jefferson County, Illinois, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the village population was 785. It is part of the Mount Vernon Micropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km), of which, 1.5 square miles (3.9 km) of it is land and 0.68% is water.
The town of Bluford was named after Bluford “Bluf” Green (1868–1912) when he was a smallbboy by his father Wiley Green (1835–1878), who was the local justice of the peace.
As of the census of 2000, there were 785 people, 283 households, and 223 families residing in the village. The population density was 539.1 people per square mile (207.6/km²). There were 310 housing units at an average density of 212.9 per square mile (82.0/km²). Find out all of the basics of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data found that there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The biggest change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Bluford skate park.
