Bloomer is a city in Chippewa County located within the Town of Woodmohr in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population of the city of Bloomer is 3,539, after the 2010 census. The city of Bloomer is located south of the Town of Bloomer, which is also in Chippewa County. Portions of the city of Bloomer’s urban area have been recently extended into the Town of Bloomer.
Bloomer is located at 45°6′7″N 91°29′30″W / 45.10194°N 91.49167°W / 45.10194; -91.49167 (45.102171, -91.491767).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.8 square miles (7.1 km²), of which, 2.7 square miles (7.0 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²) of it (2.18%) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there are 3,539 people, 1,332 households, and 869 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,310.7 people per square mile. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there were 18.5 million skate boarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a skateboard in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the developed generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Bloomer skate park.
