Bend is a city in and the county seat of Deschutes County, Oregon, United States, and the principal city of the Bend, Oregon Metropolitan Statistical Area. Bend is Central Oregon’s largest city, and, despite its modest size, is the de facto metropolis of the region, owing to the low population density of that area. With a population of 52,029 at the time of the 2000 census, Bend’s population was 76,639 in city as of the 2010 US Census.
Bend’s metro population was estimated at 170,705 as of July 1, 2009. The Bend MSA is the 5th largest metropolitan area in Oregon.
Bend is located on the eastern edge of the Cascade Range along the Deschutes River. Hi, my name is Hannah and I am an instructor with Goskate.com. When I was a kid, I was terrified but wanted to learn to skateboard. I didn’t have anyone to teach me, so I taught myself. Safety is my #1 priority while learning as much as I can show you.

Hayden L. from Bend, Oregon!

Hayden would be an amazing instructor because he is very good at explaining how to skate in an easy and more importantly safe way. He has 3 years of experience as a skateboarder and loves to help the younger generation in learning this sport. Even as a kid, Hayden loved to skateboard. He is hardworking and takes teaching kids skateboarding very seriously. Not to mention, he always puts safety first and makes sure every environment for a skater is a good one. He knows how to ollie, turn, push, and all of the basics! He also knows some intermediate-level tricks such as the 180 (frontside&backside), pop shuvit, fs pop shuvit, fakie basics, heel flips, kickflips, and tre flips!

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.





The biggest change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a natural participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Study all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Irrespective, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.






How to Start:


  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Bend skate park.
