Attleboro is a city in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States and is immediately north of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Once known as “The Jewelry Capital of the World” for its many jewelry manufacturers, Attleboro had a population of 42,068 at the 2000 census, and a population of 43,645 as of July, 2009.
Attleboro was incorporated from part of Rehoboth in 1694 as the Town of Attleborough. It was reincorporated in 1914 as the City of Attleboro. Attleboro included the town of North Attleborough until 1887 and Cumberland, Rhode Island, until 1747. When the city re-incorporated in 1914, the “-ugh” was removed from the name; North Attleborough kept it. Like many towns in Massachusetts, it was named for a British town.

Study all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been molded and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the coming years the physical locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
