Arden is a village and art colony in New Castle County, Delaware, in the United States, founded in 1900 as a radical Georgist single-tax community by sculptor Frank Stephens and architect Will Price. The village occupies about 160 acres, with half kept as open land. According to the 2010 Census, the population of the village is 439. In 1973, the entire village was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Two neighboring villages of similar size were founded on Georgist principles, Ardentown, in 1922, and Ardencroft, in 1950. In 2003 they were also listed on the NRHP. Many Ardenites, as the villagers of Arden are called, consider themselves to be “close-knit, nature-loving, liberal, tolerant, free-spirited, artistic, intellectual, even ex-hippie.”

Do you want to learn how to skateboard?

Study all of the fundamentals of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the principles of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. No matter, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the following years the skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The biggest change has been the generation that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport or art for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Arden skate park.

  • Ages: 4 through 104
  • Ability: Beginner through Competition-Style Advanced.
