Anton is a city in Hockley County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,200 at the 2000 census.
Anton is located at 33°48′41″N 102°9′45″W / 33.81139°N 102.1625°W / 33.81139; -102.1625 (33.811343, -102.162497).
Anton sits just to the east of the geographic center of the level high plains of the Llano Estacado. The flat terrain is broken to the west by a dry watercourse called Yellow House Draw, which passes about 0.5 miles (1 km) to the east of Anton.
Anton is well situated with regard to transportation. Anton is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 84 and Farm-to Market Roads 168 and 597. The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway passes through the western edge of town.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km), all of it land.

We will show you the basics of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from personalized instruction to meet your current skill level.

A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have have doubled since the time of the study. In the following years the actual locations of skate parks tripled making skateboarding more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the global mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation sport or art for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

How to Start:

  • Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
  • Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Anton skate park.
