Augusta GA SKATEBOARD LESSONS!

OUR SKATE INSTRUCTORS

A.J. R. from Augusta, Georgia!

Hello guys/girls! My name is A.j and hopefully, I’ll be your Instructor in the near future! I skateboarded from the time I was 10yo till I was 18, I don’t skate as much anymore but I still know all you need to know if you’re looking to learn how to skateboard and are serious about it. Skateboarding takes time, patience, obedience, and discipline just to name a few. I teach beginners anyone between the ages of 5-12 years old who wants to skate. I like to inform my students that this sport does NOT happen overnight and does require absolute Focus to get where you want to be. That Being said, just like all sports, you can get hurt. We ask that all skaters have the required safety gear before we actually get into the “skating” part of training, so please run on out and purchase our required gear. I am absolutely looking forward to hopefully teaching each and every one of you in teaching you the basics of skateboarding. Thank you for reading and God Bless!

Gabriel G. from Augusta, Georgia!

I would be a great instructor because I have a long history in the skate community and have got to work with some of the top skaters in the industry. I have worked for DGK and had the opportunity to model for the company and skate with a good amount of team skaters. I’ve been skating since I was 8 years old and have always loved teaching the next generation of skaters how to respect the park and the people you are skating with. I love seeing them grow a passion for the sport and seeing them get absolutely amazed at their own skill and for they can progress in an accepting safe environment!

Discover Skateboarding in a Two Week-Long School

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the ages. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the coming years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned parks and indoor parks are becoming a reality.

The most significant change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and now sees it as a participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.
