Jason H. from Lafayette, California!

Jason is the leading skate instructor for Go Skate in the East Bay. He teaches at most of the skateparks including Walnut Creek, Berkeley, San Ramon, Alameda, and more… Jason has experience teaching private lessons, group lessons, demos, and birthday parties. He has taught Go Skate for several years. Jason comes with a recommendation from the CEO of Go Skate. Jason is from Utah and has given some lessons out in Utah. Jason is mostly a bowl skater who can teach speed and flow. All stock tricks and a few flip tricks (toe-heel).

Skateboarding is a leisure activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled who had used a board in the previous year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture.

The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skateboarded in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Study all of the basics of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will teach you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your current skill level.

Ages: 4 through 104
Ability: Beginner through Competition-Style Advanced.
How to Start:
Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Antioch skate park.
