My name is Darius Smith. I am 29 years old located in Southern California and have been skateboarding for 13+ years. I am an all-around experienced skater and I specialize in street skating. I do not have any professional experience training but I regularly teach kids and young adults how to do various tricks at my local skatepark and have been now for some time.

I have been skating since I was 10 years old I am now 21. I have won many skating competitions and have a desire to help others who want to get better at skating. Just this past year 2022 on National Go Skate Day I won the best trick competition at the Redlands Skate Park. I not only skate at skateparks but I love to skate street. That increases my knowledge and skill in skating because it is much more difficult to skate streets. I already help kids at my local skatepark whenever they ask for help with tricks. I would love to help those kids who are interested in skating.

Skateboarding is a pastime activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data uncovered that there were 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled had used a board in the most recent year were under the age of 18, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the skate parks have more than tripled making skateboarding more accessible as privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality. The most significant change has been the developed generation that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a natural participation activity for their children as led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Is the fear of falling keeping you from progressing? Understand all of the basics of skateboarding quickly in a one-week camp. We will teach you the principles of skateboarding like how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. Regardless, of where you are at.. you can benefit from customized instruction to meet your skill level.

How to Start:

Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the San Bernardino skate park.
