Kyle has an upbeat personality with a calm demeanor, perfect for teaching people at any age. He has been skateboarding most of his life and knows what it takes to see fast improvement. Skateboarding is about having fun, challenging yourself, and meeting goals. The faster you learn, the more fun it will be! Kyle can help you take that next step, whether it’s your first time on the board, or it’s been a few years and you just want to progress faster. He knows easy, step-by-step instructions, as well as invaluable tips, for quick progression. Kyle is also a local/touring musician and outdoors enthusiast, as well as an Eagle Scout. He believes the time is best spent outside: wandering, exploring, meeting goals, and building community. He carries with him a passion for life that leaves many inspired and smiling.

Mitchell loves to help people advance in their skating which really revolves around confidence and tons of focus. He presently gives lessons to his friends by teaching them the basic tricks, but can also teach intermediate all the way to advanced. Skateboarding is a recreational activity, an art form, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data discovered there are 18.5 million skaters in the world. 85 percent of skaters polled had used a skateboard in the previous year were under the age of 18, and 74 percent were male. Those numbers have doubled since then. In the coming years the skate parks tripled making it more accessible as privately owned parks and indoor parks are coming into the picture. The most significant change has been the generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the world wide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation activity for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Ability: Beginner through Competition-Style Advanced.
How to Start:
Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Kansas City skate park.
