Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a work of art, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been designed and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 survey and study by American Sports Data uncovered there are 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85 percent of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of eighteen, and 74 % were male. Those numbers have since doubled. In the ensuing years the locations of skate parks have more than tripled making it more accessible as publicly and privately owned skate parks and indoor skate parks are becoming a reality.

The largest change has been the developed generation bubble that skated in their youth and have grown up with the “X” Games explosion into the worldwide mainstream of competitive sports and sees it as a participation sport for their children led by X-Games Athletes who are affiliated and instruct for our brand and web site.

Do you want to learn skateboarding?

Understand all of the basic principles of skateboarding fast in a one-week camp. We will show you the basics of skateboarding such as how to balance, push, turn, proper foot placement, and how to stop. In spite, of where you are at.. you can benefit from individualized instruction to meet your skill level.

How you can start skateboard lessons?

Equipment: We recommend a board and a full set of safety gear. This includes: a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Rental equipment is available.
Location: We can do lessons in your driveway, in your garage, or at the Hollywood skate park.

Hey, what’s up? My name is Cristian, I’m from Miami, Florida, & I look forward to being your skateboard instructor! I have about fifteen years of skateboarding experience and my passion for helping others along with the admiration I’ve always had for the sport is what I think will help make these lessons a very enjoyable and informal experience. From customer service to hospitality, my prior work experience has always required me to assist those in need and lend a helping hand whenever I could, so I’m really looking forward to being a part of your journey and helping you take your skateboarding to the next level! Keep on pushing and I hope to see you very soon!

My name is Ryan. I’m 26 and I’m from Wellington, Florida. I have always had a deep love for animals, the beach, surfing, and skating. “Regular” sports were always fun, but skating was that special thing that I couldn’t do wrong. No winner, no loser, just fun! I have been riding boards since I can remember, and am currently an intermediate-level street skater. While I’m not Tony Hawk, I think I’d be a rather excellent skate instructor, and I’d love the chance to be a part of the team! I got my Bachelor’s in Biological Science from the University of Florida in 2019. I love to learn about exercise physiology, fitness, and wellness, and share my knowledge with others! Its always been one of my favorite things to teach others, as I know how important and wonderful it is to understand things. I was also a rather successful advanced Chemistry tutor for several years at University. I think one of the things that set me apart from many teachers is that I have a very high energy level, and love to be both very silly, and very serious!
