Santa Clarita Skatepark
Los Angeles, California

The Santa Clarita skatepark is a 40,000 square foot outdoor skatepark just north of Los Angeles. It's easily one of the best skateparks in the world, so it should come as no surprise that it's located in southern California.

Spring Skate Park (North Houston)
Houston Texas

Spring skatepark, also known as the North Houston skatepark, isn't just the largest skate park in Texas. It's also the biggest skatepark in the United State, the biggest skatepark in North America, and the 2nd biggest skatepark in the world

The park covers 10 acres total, and features 78,000 square feet of both street and transition sections. Regardless of what you like to skate it's one of the best skateparks in the world. Just to put that into perspective, the average size of an elementary school in the US is only 68,000 square feet.

Even though the North Houston skatepark is currently the largest skatepark in the US, soon it's going to be dethroned by a new skatepark in Des Moines in 2020, which is set to cost 6.1 million dollars and span over 88,000 square feet.

Black Pearl Skatepark
Cayman Islands

Black Pearl Skatepark is one of the biggest skateparks in the world, so it's a bit random that it's in the Cayman Islands. The entire population of the Cayman Islands is only about 62,000 people, and this park is something you'd expect in a massive metropolitan city, not a tropical island. In total, Black Pearl skatepark spans 62,000 square feet.

When the Shaw Millenium Skatepark was built back in 2000 it cost roughly $1.8 million dollars, which adjusted for inflation would be about $2.7 million in todays money. Shaw Millenium Skatepark covers 75,000 square feet, making it the largest free outdoor skatepark in Canada and second largest skatepark in North America.

Vans Skatepark Orange County
Orange County, California

The Vans Skatepark in Orange County has a 20,000 square foot indoor street course made with a variety of concrete and wooden ramps.

It's also home to the famous Combi Pool, which is an exact replica of the original Combi Pool from the 1980's. Every year Vans still holds the Vans Pool Party there, and it's always one of the biggest skateboarding events of the year.

Queensland, Australia

Located in the northern part of Queensland Cairns Skatepark is one of the largest skateparks in Australia. Cairns Skatepark measures 2300m2, or about 25,000 square feet.

Rampworx skatepark in Liverpool is a massive 50,000 square foot indoor skatepark that's been around since 1997. Not only is it the largest indoor skatepark in the UK, but it's one of the biggest skateparks in Europe as well.

Arvada Skatepark
Arvada, Colorado

Arvada skatepark was built by Team Pain Skateparks back in 2012, and covers around 40,000 square feet. Even if you've never heard of Arvada skatepark, you've likely seen it. It has an iconic egg shell as the signature feature of the park, and it's probably the only skatepark in the world that has one, so it's easily recognizable.

Lake Cunningham Skatepark
San Jose, California

The Lake Cunningham Regional Skatepark is one of the best skateparks in the US, as well as the largest skatepark in California. Lake Cunningham Skatepark is located in San Jose, California.

The park is home to several skatepark world records, including the tallest vert wall in the world, the worlds largest full pipe, and the largest cradle in the world. The park cost 6.4 million dollars to build in 2009, which in todays dollars is about 7.6 million, making it one of the most expensive skateparks in the US.
