Someone who gives our youth a hard time when they get up to talk... Here is what Mat had written to say... Im Youth, and Im in a leadership program. I am concerned about how the Police treat Skateboarders. My friend and I have been stopped downto...wn and by the river on our way home from the riversdale skatepark. We were threatened by the officer that he would snap our boards and though them in the garbage and we would not get them back. What I dont understand is why rollerbladers and bikers are allowed to ride downtown and by the river but skateboarders are not. What most eastside skateboarders want is a skatepark like the riversdale skatepark that is closer to home. Has any thought been given on building another skatepark?
