I have skated for many years and while I'm not great at hardcore trick skating I am able to ride easily and teach the basics. My son (5 yo) has learned from me and is my first student.

Mike has been skateboarding for more than a decade, starting
off during middle school in Southern California. As times changed and his family
moved up to the much less sunny Pacific Northwest, he was delighted to find
like-minded skateboarders and designated parks in the area for practicing. Through
hours of hard work out in the garage or down at the park, his bag of tricks has
grown over the years. It is this dedication and the academic nature of studying
and practicing new tricks that can not only help a skater to grow with the
sport throughout a lifetime, but can also be applicable to other subject
matters. From spending hours a day trying to be the next Paul Rodriguez or Tony
Hawk to using a skateboard as means of transportation, learning to ride on four
wheels is an exhilarating and rewarding experience. Now with a college degree,
Mike has worked as a tutor with students of all ages, and can apply those
skills to beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of skateboarding, and
join one of the fastest growing communities in sports!

Hi! My name is Gabriel Maloy, and I want to teach you how to skate! I have over 8 years of experience in skateboarding, I placed second in the armature division of the bluegrass state games in 2013, I haven’t skated competitively since but have never lost my drive and love for the sport. I hope that you will highly consider me as your skateboard instructor!

Skateboarding is more than a sport to me it’s an addiction and a lifestyle. I’ve been skating for about six years and have gained a lot of experience in the process, I’m most skilled in street skating but do have intermediate tranny/bowl skills. I would be a great instructor because of my great attitude and social skills, also I have experience working with people of all ages. From being a counselor and rover at Camp Auburn, a camp for 6th-grade kids, to working as a cater which required me to be very social with adults from 30-90 years of age. I also was heavily involved in leadership at my high school working on projects for the school, performing at assemblies and traveling across the state for meetings with other leadership students and teachers. This makes me very comfortable connecting with and teaching anyone the art of skateboarding regardless of age or background. I would be ecstatic to be given this opportunity, A job I can be passionate about and help spread skateboarding.

Noah has given lessons to his little brother and also my friends or even random people at the skate parks he went to. He can teach kids mostly all tricks. He can teach them how to set-up for it how to flick it and how to land it and roll away clean and stylish.

He can teach simple flat ground from ollies, kickflips to 360 flips big flips front or backside 360s. Rail tricks front and backside 50/50, 5-0 nosegrind, smith feeble, krooked tail slide, bluntslide and he can do all of these 180 out and on ledges too
