. It’s not about what tricks you know it’s about bringing out the kids potential. I’m not in street league so I don’t teach in monkey see monkey do manners. I help develop foundation tricks tricks that feel natural. I don’t teach to imitate I want young skaters to develop their own style. I got lost in tricks that I thought I HAD to do once I realized how to skate for myself I learn that tricks that come natural develop into BIGGER tricks later. I don’t teach how to tre flip and dig into them into they learn in I teach them to find their own tricks so they can paint their own picture for sponsorships. I don’t think coaches can do HALF the things they teach but yet they still make champions out of average people with an interest

Mike has taught a few people how to skate. Once they learn how to push/kick/Ollie and learn how to cruise around and just have fun with it, he believes that they teach themselves the tricks at their own pace. He enjoys teaching and watching people grow in doing what they love.

I would be a good instructor because I have taught kids before. I have skated for 10 years and I have been able to skate with all kinds of skaters around the Houston area and see how they skate. Knowing this means I can work with any level of experience and help anybody progress. I have been able to travel around the country because I was good at skating. I have won contests from all around Texas placing 1st – 3rd. I have received products from companies because I am very skilled. I would be the best candidate because I have a lot of experience and know all the tips and tricks to help anybody progress.
