Skateboarding is an activity that I have been passionate about and actively engaged in since I got my first board about 17 years ago at age ten. Since then I have taken every opportunity to learn new tricks, improve my style and integrate myself into the culture. I taught myself how to skateboard and even then, safety was my biggest concern. I believe that it is important to learn tricks in a specific order of difficulty in order to minimize the risk of injury and will always make sure that all protective gear is being used. I am available to teach lessons in the Southern Maryland area, including St. Mary’s, Calvert and, Charles County. I have lived in the area for most of my life, so I am familiar with the skate parks and residential areas. I can teach any age group or skill level and have professional experience in child care from working in a group home for at-risk youth. I am currently certified in First-Aid and CPR and intend to maintain these certifications.
