Skateboard Lessons by Cameron M. From Conway, SC

Cameron is a junior Exercise and Sports Science Major attending Coastal Carolina University. Cameron has been around skateboarding ever since he was 12 years old and still possesses the love and passion for the sport. Cameron is very easy to get along with and is also very motivated to get his skateboarder to where he or she wants to be. He enjoys street skating which involves boxes, handrails, pads, staircases, gaps. He also partakes in other aspects of skateboarding. Cameron has mastered the fundamentals of skateboarding and therefore is able to teach beginner skaters. He is able to teach beginners verbally and also physically by demonstrating hands on. Before any of the skateboarding begins he ensures to highlight the importance of safety. Safety is essential and key to his lessons, since skateboarding can be rather dangerous if not performed with proper preparation. He will then thoroughly demonstrate where the protection gear belongs and make sure his student is well aware of it. Knowing this, beginners should always gear up to skate when there is no lesson being held. Cameron will always make sure his student is in the best safety by watching closely and assisting the beginner to new things. Cameron believes his beginners will succeed in where they want to be at through his teachings and the given effort his skater puts out.  He will closely examine the student’s performance and critique it where he see’s error. After one lesson, he believes students will feel more comfortable on a board. These given lessons will also be loads of fun since he will incorporate skateboarding games that will also improve their performance. After given lessons, his skaters should practice the knowledge they retained since practice is what mainly gets you to your desired area. His students will be assigned to perform certain skateboard instructions after class to ensure progression. Cameron has much knowledge and love for this sport and believes he has what it takes to teach and see his beginners perform the fundamentals of skateboarding.
